Project Overview

Twisted Pair Productions provided turnkey technical event production for Corporate Dine BNE, a ticketed dining experience hosted by Brisbane Economic Development Agency.

The event brings together some of Brisbane’s leading restaurants for an outdoor dining experience set within the gardens of Saint Stephen’s Cathedral in the Brisbane CBD. Guests move through the space enjoying curated food experiences from multiple venues in a relaxed and visually engaging environment.

Twisted Pair Productions has supported the event for 3 consecutive years, delivering the technical infrastructure required to transform the cathedral gardens into a fully functioning event space.

Production Requirements

Hosting a ticketed dining event within a heritage garden environment requires careful planning to ensure the production enhances the experience while respecting the surrounding location.

Key production requirements included:

• lighting design to create atmosphere throughout the garden space
• audio systems to support announcements and event programming
• technical infrastructure for a large outdoor dining environment
• reliable systems capable of operating across the full event duration

The production needed to support guest movement throughout the venue while maintaining a cohesive and inviting atmosphere.

Lighting Design

Lighting played a central role in shaping the atmosphere of the evening. Carefully positioned fixtures were used to highlight garden pathways, dining areas and architectural features of Saint Stephen’s Cathedral.

The lighting design helped transform the gardens into an inviting evening event environment while guiding guests through the space.

Audio Systems

Professional L-Acoustics Syva systems were installed to support event live entertainment and background audio throughout the venue. The system was designed to provide clear coverage while maintaining a comfortable sound level suitable for a dining experience.

Production Management

Our team managed the installation and operation of the production systems throughout the event, ensuring reliable performance across the venue and supporting the event schedule.
