Project Overview
Twisted Pair Productions provided turnkey technical production for Ministry Of Sound Testament, a large scale live music event held at Superordinary in Brisbane.
Working with the TMRW Events team for the 4th consecutive year, our team delivered staging, audio, lighting and backline systems along with on site technical management and production design.
The event took place across two weekends, with each show night celebrating a different decade of dance music. Ministry Of Sound Testament brings together internationally recognised artists and large audiences for a high energy electronic music experience, attracting more than 2500 attendees.
The venue itself is a warehouse style space designed to capture the atmosphere of classic rave environments, making production design a key element in shaping the audience experience.
Production Requirements
Delivering a multi night concert series within a warehouse rave style venue required production systems capable of supporting touring artists, complex show schedules and a large audience environment.
For Ministry Of Sound Testament, the production needed to support:
• staging designed for DJ performances and live electronic music
• high performance audio systems suitable for a large indoor audience
• dynamic lighting systems to support the rave style visual atmosphere
• DJ backline packages suitable for touring artists
• technical coordination across multiple event nights
The production design needed to maximise the industrial warehouse environment while creating a visually immersive space that supported the energy of the performances.
Technical Delivery
Twisted Pair Productions delivered full turnkey production including technical design, equipment supply and on site management.
Stage Production
A complete stage system was installed to support the performances and provide a strong visual focal point within the warehouse space. The staging infrastructure was designed to accommodate DJ setups and support efficient artist changeovers throughout the event schedule.
Audio Systems
Professional audio systems were deployed to deliver powerful and consistent sound coverage across the venue. The system was designed specifically for electronic music performances, providing strong low frequency response while maintaining clarity throughout the audience area.
Lighting Systems
Lighting systems were installed to transform the warehouse space into an immersive rave environment. Dynamic lighting effects helped shape the atmosphere of each show night while highlighting the stage and supporting the high energy visual experience expected from a Ministry Of Sound event.
Backline and Technical Management
DJ backline packages were supplied to meet touring artist requirements and ensure seamless transitions between performances.
Our team also provided on site technical management, coordinating production systems and supporting the event schedule across both weekends.
