Project Overview

Twisted Pair Productions was engaged as the primary production supplier for the live music program at Teneriffe Festival, one of Brisbane’s largest street festivals.

Working with the Greenfield Events team, our role was to deliver turnkey production including audio, lighting and backline systems across 3 live music stages located throughout the festival precinct in Teneriffe.

The festival attracts large crowds each year and features a lineup of national and local artists performing throughout the day. Headline performances for the event included Australian acts The Cat Empire and Bliss n Eso.

Production Requirements

Street festivals require production systems that can operate reliably across multiple stages while supporting a fast paced performance schedule and large outdoor audiences.

For the Teneriffe Festival, the production needed to support:

• 3 separate performance stages across the festival site
• professional audio systems suitable for outdoor street environments
• stage lighting systems to support live music performances
• backline packages suitable for touring artists
• coordinated technical delivery across multiple stage locations

The production infrastructure needed to ensure each stage could operate independently while maintaining consistent production quality across the festival.

Technical Delivery

As the primary production supplier, Twisted Pair Productions delivered full turnkey production including equipment supply, installation and technical support for the event.

Delivering production across a street festival environment required careful coordination with event organisers and city authorities. With the surrounding streets closed to vehicle traffic for the event, our team conducted overnight bump-ins to safely install staging, audio and lighting systems across the 3 stage locations before the festival site opened to the public.

Each stage was installed and tested ahead of the event to ensure reliable operation throughout the performance schedule.

Audio Systems

Professional outdoor audio systems were deployed to provide strong and consistent sound coverage for each stage while managing the challenges of an inner-city environment.

System design considered both audience coverage and noise management across the surrounding residential and commercial areas. Careful speaker positioning and system tuning allowed the performances to deliver clear, powerful sound within the audience zones while maintaining appropriate sound levels across the wider festival precinct.

Lighting Systems

Lighting packages were installed across the stages to support the visual energy of the live performances while maintaining practical visibility for artists and crews during the event.

Backline

Backline systems were supplied to support the artist lineup and ensure equipment met touring requirements for national headline acts.

Our technical team coordinated installation, testing and show operation across all stages throughout the festival.

Teneriffe Festival delivered a full day of live music and entertainment across multiple stages within the street festival environment.
